Into the Aspen Grove, 14 x 18, Pastel

It was a real thrill to get the call from a Wind River Valley Artists' Guild board member telling me that I had won the purchase award for 2012 in their 63rd Annual National Art Show. I've been in the show for many years and often win an award or two but this is the one I have hoped for. It's a very old and prestigious organization that maintains a museum-quality exhibition of work in the Headwaters Art Center in Dubois, Wyoming.
